What difference does being a Christian make to the task and craft of writing? I was left pondering this after Mark Tredinnick's keynote address at Saturday's Faithful Writer conference.

Advertise your books at The Faithful Writer!
If you are definitely attending the conference and you have published a book and wish to advertise it in the conference booklet, please send the following to Karen Beilharz at writer At case DOT edu DOT au:
- Your name
- The title, publisher, date of publication, number of pages and ISBN of the book
- The price in Australian dollars
- Details on how people can order your book (phone, email address, website)
- The cover image of the book in black and white (it must be at least 600 pixels wide, 300 dpi). JPEG or GIF format is fine.
The deadline for all submissions is midnight Thursday 17th July. No exceptions will be made.

2008 conference details
Date: Saturday 2 August 2008, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
(please turn up from 8:30 am onwards to register).
What to bring: a Bible, a pen, paper to write on (though you will be provided with a conference booklet) and money if you wish to purchase books.
Venue: New College, University of New South Wales, Kensington (330 Anzac Parade, just past the main uni walkway). Parking is offsite and usually a couple of blocks away.
